Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling looks set to snub interest from European giants Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to sign a new contract at Anfield, according to the Independent.

The 19-year-old winger is a big talent regarded as among the best in Europe at the moment, and will nearly treble his wages as he puts pen to paper on a five-year deal worth £125,000 per week.
Sterling enjoyed a tremendous first-team breakthrough last season with some fine form for Brendan Rodgers’ side as they narrowly missed out on the Premier League title, and is considered an important part of their future.
Having stalled on signing a new deal with the Merseyside giants, Sterling had started to attract some interest from other top clubs, though the Reds will be delighted to keep hold of him after losing another star player in Luis Suarez to Barcelona this summer.
Rodgers has previously stated that he believed Sterling would stay at Liverpool, and the club have held positive talks with the player in recent weeks as thet come close to reaching a final agreement.
Sterling has made 82 appearances for Liverpool in total, scoring 15 goals since making his debut in the 2011/12 season.
