Liverpool are reportedly in surprise talks to sign unhappy PSG midfielder Yohan Cabaye according to the Metro.

The 28 year old French international left Newcastle United for the Parc des Princes in January but is struggling to retain a foothold in Laurent Blanc’s starting eleven and has subsequently seen his role in the national tema suffer and as such is said to be considering his options.
Cabaye enjoyed a successful two and a half season spell at St James’ Park and it’s that English top tier experience that may be tempting Brendan Rodgers to land the cultured midfielder.
PSG are thought to want £20m for Cabaye and that’s a fee Liverpool could be willing to pay though it’s not immediately obvious as to where he would fit into a starting eleven that would also presumably need to include Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana.
The set-piece specialist made 93 appearances for the Magpies, netting 18 goals in the process.
