Club managers often have a problem with international matches coming in the middle of the domestic league season, and it’s understandable when so many players return injured. Jose Mourinho is likely to be unhappy this weekend as defender Kurt Zouma has picked up an injury on while on duty with France.

The youngster had to be withdrawn before half time during his side’s 2-0 victory over Sweden, and will now miss the second leg.
The injury initially looked like it could be a serious one, but it has since been reported that he should not be out for any length of time.

The powerful 19-year-old has been tipped for big things at Chelsea, possibly a long term replacement for John Terry. He made his competitive debut for the Blues in the League cup third round win over Bolton, and will be looking to cement a first team spot in the near future.
