Manchester United have confirmed that Ander Herrera has suffered a fractured rib and could be set for a prolonged period on the sidelines.

The Spanish star suffered the injury during the Red Devils’ 2-1 victory over West Ham United at the weekend and may be out for six weeks as his rib heals.
Herrera has already missed several of United’s games this season after suffering an ankle injury during the first game of the season against Swansea.
The 24-year-old has been in good form for the club when he has taken to the field though and has scored two league goals for the 13-time Premier League champions.
