Liverpool looking to spend big in January to deal with void left by Luis Suarez.

Despite signing Mario Balotelli this summer, a recent injury to Daniel Sturridge has highlighted the lack of quality depth in the Liverpool frontline, something that Rodgers is looking to address with one of these three:
Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, after the France international received a barrage of criticism from Real supports after his slow start to the season, which contributed to a lackluster couple of weeks from Carlo Ancelotti’s side. The report suggests that Liverpool are lining up a £40 million move to try and secure the signature of Benzema, but the fact that he recently signed a new deal in Madrid, coupled with Liverpool’s UEFA investigation over a potential breach of Financial Fair Play regulations, could scupper the deal.
