Napoli have only won twice this season.
Napoli director Riccardo Bigon has backed manager Rafa Benitez despite the clubs poor start to the season, the Daily Mail reports.

The Spaniard’s team narrowly beat minnows Sassuolo 1-0 thanks to a goal from Jose Callejon.
Despite winning against Sassuolo, pressure has been growing on Benitez following his side failure to qualify for the Champions League last season and the Naples outfit poor form so far this term.
Despite this, Bigon has thrown his backing behind the former Liverpool boss, saying he is the best option for the club.
”Benitez is a coach of immense experience and excellent results. He has won several trophies at clubs without huge tradition,” Napoli director Bigon said.
”Obviously at this moment he is very concentrated and is perhaps not too focused on speaking to the media. In these situations, the best thing is to lock down with the team and work.”
”His career and his working methods cannot be put in doubt.”
Fans have stayed away from the Gli Azzurri stadium this season because of Napoli’s lacklustre performances. Benitez clearly has a lot of talent at his disposal with the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Marek Hamsik giving the Spaniard potent attacking weapons. Unfortunately, he has not yet been able to get the best out of a talented squad.
