Anfield star on Bernabeu radar.
Check in to Liverpool vs Ludogorets
Gareth Bale has encouraged Raheem Sterling to look outside the Premier League in relation to his long term future and has perhaps as a result inadvertently ‘tapped-up’ the Liverpool star.
The Daily Mirror claims that Real Madrid are interested in the England international and as such his call for the teenager to consider a move abroad may be with a view to welcoming Sterling to the Bernabeu in the future.

Bale has certainly made an impact at Real Madrid since his £85m move to the Spanish capital and believes British players should look to leave the comfort zone of the Premier League when offered the chance to do so.
“I think the most important thing is you feel it’s the right move. If you feel you’re going to play, then I would encourage a British player to go abroad.
“I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, the new culture, the new life. I felt like I wanted to challenge myself. It’s down to the player himself whether he can kick on.”
Bale then decided to single out Sterling as one particular example for no reason whatsoever…
He added: “If you look at Raheem Sterling, I think he’s shown what a good player he is. He’s starting to perform more consistently.
“If he keeps working hard and doing what he’s doing then he’s going to keep progressing and the sky is his limit.”
And by ‘sky is the limit’ is the Welsh international essentially saying ‘when Real Madrid make an offer’?
