Louis van Gaal spent over £150m on new additions over the summer and Luke Shaw aside, those coming in were with a view to making an instant impact but a move for this talented 15 year old appears to be a sign of the Old Trafford manager looking to the future.

Chong is said to have impressed watching scouts when playing for the Feyenoord’s youth team during a tournament that was hosted as Man United’s Carrington training ground.
The attacking midfielder, who can also play in a striking role, is said to be technically adept and a player with an eye for goal.
Man United already boasts the former Dutch national team coach as well as stars Robin Van Persie and Daley Blind and one imagines that any offer to move to the Premier League side would be next to impossible for Chong to turn down.
