It has been another exciting weekend of Premier League action and, with transfer deadline day now upon us and the league set to take a short break for international matches, it is the time for reflection on the action that has just passed.
Some of the stand-out team performances of the weekend came from Leicester City and Burnley, who held more illustrious opponents to draws on home turf, whilst Liverpool and Chelsea were also irresistible away from home.

Having started the season slowly, it was imperative that Stoke City ‘keeper Asmir Begovic put in a performance at Eastlands on Saturday and the Bosnian certainly obliged, saving brilliantly from Yaya Toure and looking solid throughout.
