Borussia Dortmund were left stunned on Saturday evening, as they conceded the fastest goal in German league history, during their opening match of the new Bundesliga campaign.
Karim Bellarabi took just nine seconds to slot the ball past Mitch Langerak with this training ground routine, and give Bayer Leverkusen a surprise lead. It was a blow that Dortmund would not recover from, as Stefan Kiessling scored the game’s only other goal in second-half stoppage time to give the visitors a 2-0 win.
