Premier League giants Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all looking to move in on Juventus’ proposed deal for Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez, according to the Daily Express.
Sanchez is currently preparing for the 2014 FIFA World Cup with his native Chile, but his future at the Nou Camp remains in the balance as new manager Luis Enrique seeks to freshen up a squad that has remained relatively similar for a number of years.
Sanchez is valued at around £20 million by his club after an impressive season in which he was one of few players to consistently sign for a Barcelona side who missed out on three trophies.
There is room for the Premier League sides to hijack Juventus’ bid because the Serie A giants are yet to meet the Catalan side’s asking price, something that all three English clubs are capable of doing.
All potential bidders will be keen to see a deal tied up before the World Cup, where a particularly impressive showing from Sanchez and a Chilean side seen as potential dark-horses could see his valuation sky-rocket.
